Today’s medical care is often fragmented and impersonal. We strive to be different by offering personalized, individual care that rests on enough time and care to develop a true partnership that can help you get healthy and stay healthy. Through our more holistic practice you get the benefit of both Western approaches like medication and surgery, and other tools such as nutrition and mind-body tools, to treat you as a WHOLE person, being assured that we use research and data along with your individual situation to come up with the best strategy. More time, more tools, more care of YOU.
Yes. We provide personalized hormone therapy when appropriate, including both FDA-approved options and compounded hormone therapy if and when needed. Both types can include bioidentical hormones. We work closely with trusted compounding pharmacies when compounded formulations are clinically indicated. All treatment plans are evidence-based and tailored to your medical history, symptoms, and goals.
There is no strict age limit. Decisions about menopause hormone therapy are individualized and based on symptoms, medical history, risk factors, and overall health rather than age alone. Our Clinician carefully evaluate each patient to determine whether MHT is appropriate and safe.

Dr. Shelly Latte-Naor serves as our primary care physician, while Dr. Barbieri, Jackie Giannelli FNP-BC, and Lisa Leuhman FNP-BC provide routine annual gynecologic care, including Pap smears and contraception. Absolutely. While we specialize in menopause and midlife women’s health, we also provide routine gynecologic care and deeply personalized, integrative care for younger women. We have deep expertise in hormonal health in general and often offer personalized contraception advice, and help with management of hormone-driven conditions such as PCOS or endometriosis. Our approach is thoughtful and individualized, and we tailor care to each patient’s needs, goals, and stage of life.
We are a membership-based practice and do not accept insurance directly. Dr. Barbieri practiced in-network for nearly 20 years before transitioning to a membership-based model in order to spend more time with patients and provide more comprehensive care than the traditional 10-minute visit allows. We provide superbills for every visit, which you may submit to your insurance plan for possible out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your coverage. Most bloodwork is covered through Labcorp.
Membership allows for highly individualized care, longer visits, and direct access to our team. Details vary by patient needs and will be reviewed with you directly. You can learn more about our membership structure here (“here” links to “our Approach” tab)
Costs vary depending on services. Please call our office so we can review options and answer questions specific to your care.
Yes. Appointments canceled outside of our policy window are subject to a $250 cancellation fee.
Yes, whenever possible. We are a small practice and place a strong emphasis on continuity of care. We also collaborate closely as a team, so depending on your medical needs, more than one health care professional may work together to ensure you receive the most thoughtful and comprehensive care.
Yes. All of our clinicians hold the Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) credential. This certification is awarded by The Menopause Society and reflects advanced training and demonstrated expertise in menopause and midlife women’s health. Clinicians earn this credential by passing a rigorous competency examination, and it must be renewed every three years through continued education or re-examination. This ensures our team stays current with evidence-based standards and best practices in menopause care.
That is completely up to you. We are happy to collaborate with your existing care providers if you wish, or, if possible, we can coordinate and manage all of your care here. The approach depends on your individual needs and preferences, and we will work with you to decide what feels best.
While we offer longer visits and personalized care, our practice is not a concierge model focused on on-demand or convenience services. Our membership is designed to support comprehensive, evidence-based women’s health care, with an emphasis on integrative, team-based medical care rather than constant access or non-clinical services.
Care options depend on state licensing laws. Please contact our office so we can determine what services are available to you.
